LINER NOTES:
This is the new Zio Magus album, which was actually finished months ago, but I didn't get around to putting it up until now. This is not happy music. It's not emo either. It's just nightmarish noise, the kind that makes your stomach twist in on itself willingly.

This is the most experimental I have been in some time, as I used a lot of found instruments in order to make this album. "Insert and Begin" uses an Electric Whizkid, "Triassic Ghost" consists of a letter that was sent to me by Noble House Publishers, "Implode Psionics" uses part of some see-and-hear Sesame Street book that I found abandoned near a school, and "Permian Death Bass" uses an absolutely trashed bass with a raised nut made from a deer antler, along with other auditory twisting. "Infestation Tunnel" and "Protozoic Moan" were both written and performed in real time. I'm sure I could replicate them in a live environment. "Head Like A Wasteland" is my first spoken word track.

This album's more about texture and atmosphere than anything else. I recommend listening to it while playing Resident Evil or Silent Hill, or in a room with the lights out where friends can poke you and have you jump about five feet in the air before you punch the shit out of them. I was listening to a lot of Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Akira Yamaoka and Throbbing Gristle while writing this, if that gives you any ideas. If not, well, you've been warned.
